Fifty nine artists are opening their studios over all the weekends in July. Marlborough Open Studios is now in its 14th year and showcases the creative work and working practices of sculptors, ceramicists, painters, printers, jewellers and photographers in the area. A re-designed brochure, highlighting opening times and location of individual studios together with a guide to local eateries en route on the popular Marlborough Art Trail, and out of town art trails, will be available in shops in Marlborough, and libraries and galleries across the region from early May. Sampler Exhibitions of work by participating Open Studio artists will be held at the Nataraj Art Space, The White Horse Bookshop and the Pewsey Gallery throughout July. |

There is so much to Barbury. 2009 will be even bigger and better than ever. Set in a natural amphitheatre formed by the beautiful Marlborough Downs, Barbury offers probably the best views of a cross-country circuit - anywhere. The course has been designed by Mark Philips to test the skills and courage of the world’s finest horses and riders. If you’re hungry or thirsty, there’s a wide variety of food and drink outlets for you to choose from, all in an informal and relaxed setting. Away from the arena, attractions include a Bungee Jumping, Mini quad bikes and a Climbing Wall. There will also be Face painting and a Bouncy Castle. there is also a Shopping Village with 60+ stalls offering a huge range of quality products, from saddlery to high fashion. Keen equestrian or fun-loving teenager, family or group of friends, Barbury is here to entertain you from July 9-12 2009.

| Marlborough International Jazz Festival was founded in 1986. It features on Tower Records' list of the top events of its kind in the British Isles. As well as individual concerts, a major feature is the "Stroller". These are tickets that enable the holder to see a large number of bands in over 20 locations on Friday evening from 6pm and Saturday from before 12 noon until after midnight. Bands range from famous touring stars - and many of the home-grown variety - to young and up-and-coming groups. Over the years we have built our reputation on booking bands that are on the way to the top and these return year after year. |

| There are many new and exciting courses available in 2009, which run alongside the perennial favourites. Courses run from Monday until Friday each week and offer flexibility in choice between a full day, two half days or simply coming for the mornings or afternoons alone. The scope and breadth of the courses is unusually wide and designed for both adults and young people. We aim to satisfy all ages, interests and abilities and it is because we offer so much, to so many, that we boast a programme that truly has "Something for Everyone". | |||
